These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Axel Rides mobile applications and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Axel Rides provides a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers and fleet partners. We are not a transportation carrier. Drivers and fleet partners are independent third parties responsible for their conduct and compliance with applicable laws.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- Drivers must complete verification and maintain valid documents as required.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share your password or OTP codes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a safety risk.
Rides and payments
- Fares are calculated based on platform and fleet pricing rules shown before booking.
- Credit balances and vouchers are subject to in-app rules and availability.
- Cancellations may incur fees according to ride status and platform policy.
Driver and partner obligations
- Maintain a roadworthy vehicle and valid licences and insurance as required by law.
- Follow traffic laws and treat riders and other road users with respect.
- Fleet partners are responsible for drivers they onboard under their fleet.
Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse the platform, harass others, commit fraud, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific arrival times.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Axel Rides is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to us for the trip giving rise to the claim in the prior three months, or NAD 500, whichever is greater, unless law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Account deletion
You may delete your account from the app (Profile → Help & Support). See our Support page for details. Deletion is subject to completing or cancelling active trips.
